I've been told 68 degrees C is the std setting.

The part I ordered has 80 degrees C written on it.

Can anyone confirm what the standard CA18DET thermostat setting is?

Normally if the thermostat is in the lower hose it will be around 68 - 78 degrees C if it's in the upper hose it will be around 82 - 92 Degrees C

My SR runs a 79 degree thermo. you want between 75-85 degrees for a well functioning motor.
