You're sh1t out of luck sorry mate. The b110sss's were just 1200 dulue's that were given a hot up by dennis marwood. He needed to sell a certain number if cars like that so that they would qualify as a production car for the B&H racing series. (Or something like that)Things to look for is the correct tacho in the centre consol, SSS badges in all the correct places. And that it's a deluxe. It's pretty easy to reshell a SSS.
Go join up at www.datsun.co.nz. Guys there can tell you all the exact details.

There is a pretty good description of what makes a SSS different in the tech section, if you still have doubts, give me a PM and I may be able to have a look at it with you to determine if it's the real deal.

Hey, thanks for that guys. It is proving hard to find achives for these cars. I have spoken to Nissan NZ and also Dennis Marwood and neither can confirm that this car is geniune, although a search through NZ Post brings this car up as a 73 1200 SSS.

Sterling Mac thanks for your offer but this car is in Rangiora (just out of Christchurch).

The guy I'm buying it off didn't want to pass over these numbers so I'm just doing my homework before purchase.

I'm in Christchurch. Maybe I ould take a look at it for you? The big thing with these is that most of the SSS goodies get burgled off them. especially doer upers.
