32/36 tuning help

hey just need help with tuning my idle is to rich which screw turns it down or any help would be appreciated thanks

its around the back of the carby (almost on the corner closest to the driver) and your screw driver needs to be pointing towards the front of the car sort of. best access from passenger side of the bay.

not sure which way is rich/lean, but if you turn it one way you will soon gather if its doing harm or good.

Richen is anti-clockwise, Lean clockwise.

Set Idle screw to 700rpm, turn mix screw anti-clockwise to richen, if idle does not go up, turn mix screw clockwise till rpms drop, richen 1/8 turn, reset idle if need be. If idle does go up stop at that point and reset idle to 700rpm. Should be about right.

Or get a vacuum guage, and set idle to 700rpm with highest vacuum reading.

ignition timing might need a check up... set it to about 10deg BTDC with this carby

yeh its already spot on 10deg i think i figured it out the accelerator cable isnt pulling far enough to open the throttle all the way
