i have a 1200 ute with no motor i was going to take the ca out of my other ute but im sick of computers and want to stay away( and if i buy a new motor i dont need to rob the other dat... making it a burnout/ drag car
was thinking L18T (compressor .80 and turbine .63) standard compression, 5psi ,huge turbo cam and some kind of proformance carb

any idea if i could go L20 turbo in a 1200 ute
and people have said that L20s dont rev enough and that L18 respond to turbo charging alot better. personally i havent a clue so if any one out there does add ur 2 cents

thanks

Not to sure about L series motor, But if the L18 has a shorter stroke it will rev higher. But if your going all out I'd emagine an L20 would hav a greater power potential eaven if it's in a lower rev range witch isent a bad thing for a road car or a burnout car, tourqu is what ya want!

on paper theres not much differnece between the L20 series 1 and L18... in the car L20 does drive more effortlessly.
