Hitachi carb main mixture screw whats baseline for turns out from bottom? |

I have a electric choke Hitachi my manual does not say a method for a baseline setting. How many turns out from bottom is the main mixture screw?

To my knowledge there is no specific number of turns, or base line setting for the Idle Mixture screw on the various 306 carbs. Specific adjustment can be accomplished with or without a CO meter, though in the US, from 1980 on, they are supposed to be adjusted only with a CO meter. I believe all 306 CO levels had to be at least below 4%. For the
