just pulled my engine out, and to find out my turbo is siezed. i broght this thing awhile ago of one of the members on here and it was apparently rebuilt but i was abit sus it was a bit tight. i started my car about 2 times once i put it in and still didnt run properly so i gave up on it and now i find out i brought a dud

So did you buy the complete setup engine etc or just the turbo setup ?. Clyons8 Do u mean Name and shame ? Would only name if he refuses to respond or resolve the matter even then i dont think naming is healthy it doesnt resolve things or get a refund it closes doors.

Yeah write first, talk it over, agree and if it goes backwards put a warning out for the benefit of other members.

How often have you used it since you fitted it ?

well i put it in started it up it barely ran tried to figure out y it wont run properly like it would pick up the revs i thort it was still my carby playing up but yeah id be lucky if i stated it up more than twice. didnt drive it and it didnt even make boost

mmm that probably rules out the fact it may have died from lack of use. All i can say is if the member is still an active member contact them explain the situation they may work something out.Though its a second hand turbo they generally have shaft play at minmum if unserviced and sold on so guess its a risk we take.
