Im not sure, but I do know that the stock ca computer, under certain conditions uses vehicle speed as a reference. Because the 1200 has no speed sensor, the engine can shut down, for no apparent reason. - a good tuner can program this out. - I had a reprogrammed stocker in mine, then went the microtech and map / maf less option later.

A cobber of mine is sell versed at remapping CA18de/det ecu's. He told me that an Auto ecu will work, but it'l likeley use more fuel. it's not that expensive to buy a blank chip and give it a tickle up.
