Hi, ive been reading and getting confused and just want to to get it straight. What ive gathered is 180b struts are better for lowering because of the stut tube length opossed to standard but spring perch needs to be swapped because of 1200 tower wont fit larger springs right? is that all needs to be done to fit them in? are these struts can be easily converted to coilovers? I'm running 15x7 +10 of fronts and need to lower it! any other benefits using these struts besides the brake upgrade?

Thanks!

your are correct there mate, no nothing else needs doing, the benefits are brakes and spring travel eg you can still have it low and have good travel before bump stop, and yes there are plenty of coilover kits for the 51mm struts. do you have 180b struts? i have a pair for sale pm me if you need more info

Also need to swap LCA's, Steering Arms,Ball Joints (Sunny Or Stanza)and then get 120y Castor rods. Thats if its not a late model ute. 180b struts wont bolt up to earlier 1200 steering arm different bolt hole spacing. You may be able to get away with Sunny ball joints and Sunny steering Arms but i doubt ball joint will work, So i wont guarantee that method.

Which maddat kit ?. You could source Stanza/Sunny LCA's, Steering Arms, 120y castor rods (Also need Sunny/Stanza Outer Tie Rod Ends 1200 Stanza Inner ones are all the same) Through here or on OzDat and paint them up yourself bushes and ball joints are still available new. While your at it if your staying with A series engine get a 120y sway bar they bolt in and are thicker than original. If your going a conversion say CA or SR get a maddat SR one there awesome.
