Im looking at starting the fuel setup on my CA18DET 1200 ute. I just wanted to know what i have to do to run unleaded fuel ? can i used the same tank ? do i need a new fuel neck ? thingfs like that.

I'm going to run to aftermarket fuel pumps if that helps.

Thanks

dont think you would need a new fuel tank, unless capacity is a worry.
and with the filler hole, it only has to be modified so only unleaded size nozzle will go in, but now we dont have super pumps with the larger nozzle i dunno if it would be an issue.
someone correct me if im wrong here.

the filler hole on my zed was about 555-60mm in diameter. you cant miss it.
the old super nozzles must have been as big as the hi-flow diesel ones.

Guess you gotta decide if it's internal or external fuel pumps....internal is neater, external is easier (no chopping up of welding of fuel tank)

I roll this way....

Surge tank & lift pump

EFI pump

Theres a bunch of filters around too - more pics on my dodgy website
