Hey guys! Long time no post.

So I'm getting ready to do a full rebuild of my 210's A15 since she's throwing fits and I'm looking for opinions on what to do with it while it's out.

I've already located a full rebuild kit here including everything from pistons to oil pump and full gasket set with bearings with the option of oversize bearings, rings, and pistons. I was planning on having the block bored 40 over and ordering oversized pistons. Now at the same time I was looking into maybe having the cam reground although, I'm completely lost as far as cam profile. Who's sporting a reground A series cam that can give me advice on deciding what kind of profile I want for a daily driven A15?

Also, at the same time I'm planning on upgrading to a header as well as some custom fabricated quad Keihn CVK40's. I'm a few weeks out on pulling it and will end up dismantling it before I even order the kit (just in case I need to have crank work done and use oversized bearings) so I have plenty of time to explore and decide what I want to do with it while it's apart.

My ignition is already up to par with an MSD Blaster 3 coil and the Streetfire CDI ignition box.

Here's what I'm working with now..

Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a good plan.

For the cam, there is no substitute for getting a custom grind. Call Delta Cams and tell them it is for street, 2000 lb car, 1500cc and your RPM range. They'll give you a camshaft better than any off-the-shelf grind.

That rebuild kit is amazingly cheap if it really does include all the timing gear, oil pump pistons etc etc. It might pay to make an inquiry about the brand of the rings bearings etc just to determine quality.

As for the cam, you're probably be best to take the advice of dd. All I say is don't choose a balls out race cam. Engine bay looks great, I bought a Sunny B310 the other day and I REALLY like them.

Thanks for the advice guys!! I'll be calling Delta later to get a price.

Hey EDP, you should post your build over on Ratsun! Those guys would love to see your 1200. Any progress with her?
