Trayback conversions are a real cnut to get engineered, glad you've decided to stay with the standard design. I just bought one too, lots of floor, cowl, and roof stuff to do unfortunately Fender mirrors look cool, but as far as functionality goes, they're pretty useless. What wheels are on that one?

They allow you to see behind while looking ahead -- just like door-mounted mirrors. And they have less of a blind spot. They are superior.

Fit a set on, I haven't ever had any better and I like seeing more of the car in the mirrors (as they are set further back from where you are sitting). Combined with the glass-house cabin of the 1000 I can see everything, it really makes it a much more relaxed drive knowing you have a lot more within the scope of your field of vision.

Exactly. you can drive and look behind you without having to turn your head, which is safer keeping your eyes on the road.
For me in a small cabin, door mirrors always seem to close and i need to turn my head to much. Also fender mirrors i can see so much more.
I think only spring loaded ones are legal, genuine nissan ones are spring loaded. But confirm that... i forget.

Haha surrre you can see more. If you put a mirror next to you, and put a mirror 3 metres away, tell me which mirror you can see more detail in? The point of mirrors is to see around and behind you, not to look at your car. If anything they have more of a blind spot because they sit further away from you which narrows the field of vision. I agree with the point made about having to turn your head around just a tiny bit further than when in another vehicle. But that's why god gave us necks How about no mirrors, and install some cameras haha
