For the ones who has the 280zx struts in their 1200s, im just wondering if the strut height is sufficient for a well lowered 1200 running 13's or should i shortened the strut.. so it won't bottom out. I know the struts are already shorter than the standard 1200 struts but just want to see what people have done and their opinions.

ALSO has anyone experienced inverted shock inserts?

thank you!

Are you planning on lowering it more than 4 inches?

Cheers fellas, I forgot how much I lowered it but I'm running 14" ATM and it just tucks.. If I recall it was 3 inches?

Project was on hold, now trying to start it again.

This is how it sits now, i got 13x8 and 9 advan A3A's that i want to run. 280zx reduces track so the 8 might tuck in better at the front. Also trying to avoid bump steer

The 280ZX struts increase the track slightly, don't they?

But the track also depends on which ball joints are used. If they used an late B210 LCA/Ball joint, no increase. But if they used a B310 large Ball joint, it increases track.

I guess talking from stock brakes and all. forgpt to say my lca is b210 and ball joints? I really need to check. with 280zx hubs, they sit closer inwards towards the strutwhich was what i wanted, im running s13 brake conversion so big difference in hub offsets?
