Hi Guys,

Just bought a 1988 Sunny truck(b122). I had it imported from japan to here in the UK. I have now had a good read of the forum to find out best place for parts but iv ended up getting myself confused.
My truck never existed in the UK at this time so searching for parts has proven to be difficult. Can you guys help me out as to where I could get parts, standard or performance.

Thanks

Congrats. Welcome to the club.

UK-edition Sunny 1200 B110 (1970-1973) parts will fit it, except of course for body parts aft of the front doors.

I have purchased parts for my Sunny Truck off eBay UK.

Thanks for the info guys. Im guessing they didnt change much with the truck from the 70s to the late 80s then? Im guessing Nissan might also be able to source parts?

Yes.

But in the last five years Nissan has been reducing the parts inventory and they are becoming less available. The good news is that they were and continue to be sold by aftermarket. I see many Quinton Hazell parts for Datsun 1200 on eBay UK.

Nissan South Africa made the truck until November 2007 and sold the truck into 2008 as the Nissan 1400. Aside from minor changes it is the same as the first 1971 truck.

Another important tip is to look for "Nissan 1200" parts at the shoppes. Nowadays they are rarely listed under Datsun.

I can buy parts at any neighborhood auto spares shop although they often have to be ordered. There is only one Datsun 1200 here.
