Ok, I don't know #### 'bout computers. I'm trying to do what dd does. I don't know how to cut/copy/paste. Don't even know what a url means. If it will take too much time to explain it SIMPLY, just tell me & I won't bother. Thanks

OK, first lesson: clickable URL:

1. Click Reply
2. Click URL
3. Type this in:
http://datsun1200.com
4. Click OK
5. Click OK to the "Script Prompt"
6. Click Submit

Now you got a clickable URL in your reply.

how to do pictures in links:
(Let's do my avatar)

1. Right click on my avatar
2. Click on properties at the bottom
3. Next to Address (URL) is the address of where my avatar is stored. You will see the address "http://datsun1200.com/images/avatar/users/565.gif" Highlight this with the mouse and then press ctrl and C to copy it.
4. Now reply to a thread and click on the IMG button (which can be found under the "Message Icons")
5. Now press Ctrl and V to paste the address in that you copied before.
6. Click OK
7. Now unless you wanna be fancy, just click OK in this next box as well.

Finished.
Now someone tell me how to do those little thumbnail linking pictures???

:EDIT: wow. Just noticed hypnotic that little guy is... Wiggle left, wiggle right, wiggle left, wiggle right...
he he he... look at him go!

Lobster! You taught me a new trick. I didn't know the "properties" would have the full URL (address) of the picture. I always before had to guess and try several times to figure it out. Thanks for the tip.

OK, we got URLs and IMGs down.

To make a IMG clickable, ya gotta combine the two. It's a little tricky, but once ya figure it out ...

1. Make the URL
2. Make the IMG
3. Move the IMG stuff (all of it) into the appropriate part of the URL. Say you have this:

[ url=http://blah.blah/mysite]Click for my site[/url ]

The trick is: take the part between ] and [ --- in this case 'Click for my site' -- and replace it with the IMG part. You can type it in by hand, or use copy/paste.

no asked "How can I store more than one link @ a time before I come back here to post?"

You can't ... I just open more than one Web page at a time (click Start, Programs, Internet to open another web page). Then I switch back and forth.

Well maybe there is a way, but I just switch back and forth.
