just wondering what brand / type of extractors you 1000 lads are using as i dont really want to fork out $400 for custom ones if i can help it. Dattoman_1000 says hurricane ones fit, are there any others?

I have a set of hurricane 4 into 1 headers from a 120y. I had to 'make them fit, but they fit fine. I only had to bend we about 10mm closer to the gearbox to clear the steering arms.
stil though, if they fit first time the better.

i'd say use early 120Y headers - they're the best header out there.

moving to extractors might gain you 5kW or whatever up top, but low rpm driving will suffer - something a 1000 needs really bad.

how's those turbo plans coming along? or is this for your other 1000?
