has anyone tryed using a downdrough 32/36 webber in the suk thru turbo style? any success? reason is i have one and i no they make a fair power gain on na motor so maybe it would be a good combination with boost. the only thing stopping me going straight ahead is that the fuel/air would have to turn a 90 degree bend into the turbo, this may upset things and may create another spot were fuel can puddle. or would i just be better off with the simple su side draught style carb. thanks

I dont think it will matter that much, it will still get sucked around the corner. If you are worried, there is no reason why you cant mount the turbo on a better angle.

I've used one before on an A14 turbo, for the same reason you're thinking about it - already had it. It worked fine. We rejetted the secondary and that was it.

Don't worry about the 90 degree bend - all NA cars with downdraughts have that with and they don't have problems with pooling, even with their lower air speeds.
