Same weight as my sedan.. interesting.

I thought yours might be less. Being a Ute and all. Those 28 spline diffs must be mighty heavy.

Cool.

wow.. that's just a tad over 2000lbs if you factor in the gas. my 2dr sedan weighs 1587 and i'm currently piecing together a CA18 swap for it. i thought the total weight with the swap would be about 1700 with the stock diff, but maybe i'm wrong. love the ute!

The stock dato 1200 ute is actually heavier than the stock 1200 sedan, i dunno how they figure that out but the weights are: Sedan 715Kg and the ute weighs 758Kg. So my 1200 with the CA in it weighs 756Kg which is still lighter than the ute....and thats not a bad thing either

so is your 1200 sedan a 2dr or 4dr? 1663lbs is lighter than i thought it'd be. very nice! does your sedan have a larger rearend? does it have full interior? 1/4mile time?

4 Door Sedan (originally auto)
Yes, it's a larger Borg Warner with lighter 25spline axles. It's heavier than 70kgs, I can't lift it. (I was pretty tired when I last tried to lift it).

AE86 trailing arms and spax coilovers (requiring a custom rear shock crossmember).

Using the S13 gearbox and CA18. Full interior. No Sound system yet. The Sparco Seats are really light. And I'm using lightweight forged wheels 15 inch.

Car is registered, but not completely tuned yet. I'll be giving it a go down the quarter when I've ironed out all the little bugs.
