heylo guys,
i have a b310 a12 manual 5 speed that comes with no tachometer. since a few of the warning lights are gone like the low fuel and choke lights, a malfunctioning analog clock, and spoilt trip meter reseter, i might consider to change to a used b310 meter with digital quartz clock and tachometer.
i have a few doubts about this conversion and i hope it can be cleared out. is this conversion going to be a straightforward procedure eg. plug and play? will the tachometer or other gauges will be ablel to measure the correct amount/speed after the change and function properly? and what kind of shop should i go to for this work to be done? car electrical wiring shop or normal mechanic?
by the way, im from malaysia and it would be a pleasure if theres any forummers from malaysia that could answer me on where should i get the job done.ive found out that alot of b310s here comes with tachometer and digital clock but not mine..apparantly mine was from the early 1980's batch and is rather lacking in some accesories like rear door open/close sensor/switch too..only front doors has this feature. when the rear door is open or not closed properly, the warning light doesnt come out..i found out that it has no sensor/switch at the body of the car at all, its patched with some black rubber unlike the front doors where theres a switch
thanks in advance for your replies
