THAT was a fun night.
Managed a best of 1.17:45. And in doing so, I knocked 3 secs off my personal best!
Gotta love new pads & fluid...

Also, whatching Coop in front of me through the 'Goodyear' bridge complex with his LH front wheel half a foot off the track was an impressive sight...
Hopefully we get some photo's...

I was just told Coops got a 1:16.00 as his best time last night.

At 0.2 seconds a lap behind the Genuine Weslake powered red Ford GT40 ($400,000)doing a 1:15.80, Using a bit of value for lap times produced, I think that makes Coops 1200 car worth $398,947.37 ............


Seriously, that got him 24th outright out of the 55 entrants. I dont think there were any more than 2 smaller capacity cars there (1 micra 1300 1:20 something and a mild 120y???? times).

In a field of horsepower giants with lots of big Hp turbo cars (very fast on the straights), the 1200 did very well. Also in similar times were packs of 1600's with 2.4 grunter engines and stuff so he had plenty of competition.
