I have been trying 2 work my heater out nearly every after noon 4 the last few days. This is my question: On the side there is 2 terminals, wat plugs them in and wat do they do. There is a spring inside which is connected to it??????, Also wat settings do you guys have yours on, on the dash and does it work well????, mine works sort of but not great. and seeing as though im on the road a 6:20 each lovely freezing bloody cold canberra morning, then i really do need a heater. Anything else that you recommend 2 check, will be greatly appreciate. Its for a 81 120 ute

The two plugs are for the fan, also the spring. It controls fan speed i think.

Check that the tap is opening fully. its on the driver side under the dash.

the heater core may have leaves or dust covering it.

Mine works great, its well worth getting it working.

If you have a properly working 1200 heater, then carry a passenger in the morning. These things can put out enough heat to cook toast, so your passenger can feed you breakfast on the way in to work.

If your heater hoses are blocked, then they are probably deteriorated inside, so replacement is the only real fix.
