I'm trying to find a 5-speed transmission for a Datsun F-10, somewhere in the USA. I'm willing to remove it if it is currently installed in a parts car... with or without the engine too
Does anyone know of any Datsun F-10's in junkyards?

I've only seen one F10 in the past 5 years at the wrecking yard, and I didn't even check to see if it had a 5spd.

I have my eye on an F10 and an early 200SX They are just sitting collecting rust. Both are privately owned (seperate owners)

Are the F10 trans' the same as the B210's?

The F10s are front wheel drive so no.

I do remember that now. Its been a looong time!

All of the Station Wagon F-10's are 4-speeds, Most of the F-10 Hatchbacks are 5-speeds... the 5-speed is kinda odd- tricky to shift with first gear in the lower right.

There is a F10 (hatchback I guess) at PNP Rancho Cordova, CA. Been there for months, pretty complete as of 2 weeks ago. Don't remember the trans. I'll check. But you won't hear back from me for weeks prob.

I've managed to track down a 5-speed transmission in, of all places, eastern Massachusetts. I called and they said that no-one else had called about Datsun F10 parts for at least five years, but they still had an engine and transmission on their shelves.
I've found a transmission, but I still need the linkage, so please let me know if the junkyard's F-10 has a 5-speed.
