I am looking for a 240z / 260z / 280z

Price for the 1000:

Well I had a 92 Toyota Soarer TT very clean with good mags which is valued at $12,000 and I traded that for my coupe, a 89 pulsar, and $3000

I think that would equal
$3000
$3000 - Pulsar
that leaves $6000 for the couple including a A14

then I added original dragways, original front bumper amougnst other things. Any its been fully service etc... I still have the orignal rims and spare parts like dash, trans, etc...

I know I cant get all my money back, but I would expect around five to six grand.

what do you guys think?

It may well be worth that sort of dollars but I think you'd be real lucky to get it.

People just don't want to pay that sort of $$$ for 1000 Coupes.

Just look at Ianey's uncles car - probably one of, if not THE cleanest most original coupes in Australia and he couldn't get that for it.

Sad to say, it would be real tough fetching that sort of money for it.

Maybe in 10 years when Datto's are even rarer...

it is quiet a shame really,as I like the little 1000 coupes, i almost ended up buying the car in question (Ianey's uncle's one), only to be deterred by my mechanic telling me that most suspension parts are very hard to get, including roadworthy items like bushes and ball joints, not to mention lenses, etc.......

From my experience, only Datsuns that are pulling the bucks are early 240Z and Datsun Fairlady and possibly Silvia.

I just realised which coupe it is thats for sale. Ive seen the car and its nice, very nice. I can also say that the motor is killer too (A14) I built it a few years ago, it sat around doing nothing and then it went into this coupe.
The guy that owned this one also owned the one I have now, which is what I built the motor for.

It would be a good buy thats for sure!!
Good luck with the sale1

Cheers. Adam.
