it can be done in parts i got them over like 3 years. you need 81 datsun 280zx turbo strut tubes and hubs, that junk... you need camber plates, the wilwood adaptors, 240sx short tokiko illumina struts, a set of wilwood dynalite 4 pot calipers, some stainless brake lines, and a decent machine shop, or someone that understands what has to be done.
once all the assembaly is done it really is bolt on. makes the car handle like it cost $40,000 and amazing brakes. don't let the wilwood name fool ya, the calipers are about $120 each and a set of pads is maybe $45, for any composition you want.
there are some issues, wheels, but they are always. get a set of 14" wheels minimum from a 280zx turbo ideally. i think i got non turbo wheels and that made more excitement. I've heard using 4 lug 350z hubs helps get the wheels in a bit if it's a problem
there's a lot of parts to get and some are made 1 at a time, so not being able to afford it all at once is fine. I had the strut tubes for a year before i found anyone to do the work, finally had them on almost a year. they rule.
springs... many choices, pretend you have a 240sx, oem springs are 90# 175- 225 is good for street and light track.
you want adjustable struts that adjust on the car, like the tokiko iluminas or something. this supsension upgrade will last the fife of the car, upgrade engines, just get heavier springs.
you have like 3x the stopping power you need, i've never gotten the brakes anywhere near fading. have to try harder....
