hey again - i was having trouble finding an inlet manifold that would fit with my extractors, so i took them off, and got an Xhaust mani out of a vanette , and tried to use the original inlet manifold (i was trying to use a A12 one, with adapter plates made up..no good). Then i found that it doesnt fit with the inlet manifold either, AAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!! So ill get to my questions... i was told that i would need all the original pollution gear and air filter stuff for the engineer - does this mean that extractors are no good either? And, what could my carbie and manifold be out of? The original exhaust manifold was flatter, the inlet manifold drops about 30mm off the head, and the carbie bolts on with 4 bolts thru the manifold, not onto 4 studs ontop... Also, the exhaust manifold pointed back, not down, like a front wheel drive car (pulsar ). Any answers anyone? Also, if anyone want this carbie and manifold, they can have em - they both work well, but are no use to me. cheers, linc.
