Hi all I have a 76 datsun 1200 ute in average condition, it is fairly straight but has quite a bit of rust in the tray area/rear lower guards (bubbling)
It's an a12 4 speed, car is not registered but goes.
Interior is fairly shot apart from a good 1200 strip speedo dash.

Just would like to know what it would be worth
Please need some sort of idea as I maybe parting with it very soon and need to know what kind of dollars I could get for her.

if the body isnt to bad then $500-1000 would be about right i would think

I sold a unlic 1200 ute for $500.
Sills had just about rusted out completely, bog everywhere, and other usual rust spots in 1200s were rusted out pretty bad.

It was complete and ran tho.

2000 tho if you were in sydney bit less where you are. Interior and engine condion hardly affects prices unless there is none of either. If its straight and rust free( the rust you mentioned is minor compared to most) i recon its worth around 1500.

It would need a complete restoration.
Including cuting out the rust in the sills and rear quarters.
Tray area is pretty beaten up aswell.
Just would like to know if I should wreck it and sell the parts individually or should I rub back the rust (large bubbling) and fill with filler and spray the whole ute white again, so that it looks fairly good and then sell it???????????

This ute only cost me $300, please all feedback appreciated.

I got the ute for FREE with my 1000 wag... so it was 100% profit. Couldnt beleive the amount of people calling and asking if it had any rust. I mean cummon! Its a $500 1200 ute!
