hi guys and girls my name is Matt and this is my datsun 1200 ute it is just about done so thought i'd do a project thread on my pride and joy.

I bought it off a mate that dident have the time for it anymore and i dident want to c it rust away so then it was on the back of a truck and on its way to its new home

I have always wanted a 1200 ute right from the first time i saw one just love the lines and style of them anyway here are a few pic's to get things rolling

so this is how it all started (note the s13 brake booster and master was going to run all s13 brakes but plans changed

time to get out the grinder to give the under side a clean up and the spray gun to give it a prime look's sweet ready for the paint shop

i was getting the ute ready for the paint shop here fixing up a few things and giving them a prime

so the next bit was getting the ute painted we did it ova a few weekends thanks to my cousin wade who is the best spray painter in townsville and roy for doing my flared gaurds thanks guys

frankthedophintraner even spotted me before it was painted pushing it off the trailer


so its time for paint

so after a long weekend hard at it the ute has been striped back to full baremetal and primed and the door jams and engine bay have been painted
