I'm plaaning on making a tramp rod/caltrac set up in the rear end of the ute, but i need help in sourcing the parts required to make a set up like that.

I could go and buy a caltrac set up but i rather make one myself from scratch, Any help would be appreciated

i found a pic this should help you on the path to sucess-

this is from the 1200 competition suspension manual it is available free in the download section, it also shows a rear rollbar set-up too.

What exactly would you like to know?

sway bar is custom one off
d/l the comp suspension manual here
caltracs have changed since the 70's. now the front mount pivots and pushes down on top of the leaf , this pushes wheels into the ground
for an a series this setup should work fine

i found out of a mate that works in a local suspension shop that they can supply an aftermarket one from 'whiteline'.
Anyone bought one of these?

In the picture below there is a "rose bush" (Ball joint kinda thing) at one end and just a solid bush at the other, witch seem's odd because one is useles if the whole thing cant pivot??
