What they don't seem to advertise - with a bottle that size, and a gain of around 25-30bhp you'll get literally just 1 quartermile run out of that bottle, maybe 2 but that'd be borderline. And being a 'nitrous only' kit, there's no fuel jet, so you'd have to run the carb richer, which would make it use fuel unnecessarily at all other times than that 1-2 1/4mile runs.

Ultimately the 'issue' with nitrous is always the same - the cost/hassle of refilling it. Even a 10lb bottle on a 75-100bhp system will only last 5-10 1/4mile runs. Even if you got it for free, it amounts to about 1-2 minutes of fun in total before the bottle is empty.

Don't get me wrong, they are a lot of fun if only used at the drags, and are practically un-beatable as far as the idea of using a 'big' slow spooling turbo, that has less restriction and produces lots of peak power - they simply run a 50-100shot of nitrous off the line, and that spools up the turbo big time, and gives the best of both worlds.

Having said all that, I honestly think the datto engines are well constructed and you'd have little trouble runnning 75hp kits at the drags (as long as you adjusted the timing and ran an octane booster with the fuel just to play it safe to avoid detonation)

i was thinking of playing around with nos but in the long run its not worth the trouble of refilling and tuning

for the money it would probly be easyer and cheaper to go for a turbo setup
