hey all
can anyone help me with some info, i've got a spare and straight b310 sunny thinkin i gonna make a daily work driver out of it and on the cheap if i can, was wonderin bout those nissan z motors,,what were they in did they have a 5 speed what sizes i think was 1.8 and 2l and maybe do we know anyone who has used one b4 was it hard or easy fit?

the bottom end is essentially a L series so it's not going to be hard to mount that up, it's mainly just the crossflow head stuff that might get in the way. It shouldn't really be a problem either.

I read could be wrong someone else can confirm that the Z cranks are not fully
counter-weighed as the L series are to save money on commercial engines that would
never rev as high as initially intentioned with the L series.
Therefore people put in L20 cranks in them.

hahaha i dunno D my stock Z20 navara loved the hi revs haha but it blew more smoke than an ozzy backpacker in an amsterdam cafe. i couldnt have killed it if i tried

well that is soundin like my plan then 2L z motor, cheap to get no injetion or wiring, more power than my a12. just nice reliable cheap daily driver and as a bonus gets me a spare motoer for the racecar coz i can can rebuild the a12 at a later date.
