Hi all, I haven't surfaced for a while as the project has been on hold. Getting married, buying a house and having a kid will do that. But I haven't given up my dream build of the 1200 ute.
I am asking anyone's advice and help? I have a 'Pricol' electrical Oil Temp Gauge that is installed and working fine. I just went to install a 'Speco' electrical Water Temp Gauge and the power wire burnt up. I have moved the earth wire to two different spots and that didn't solve the problem. I disconnected the sender wire and the problem still occurred. I installed a fuse in the power wire and it blew immediately as I turned the key to Ignition. I sourced the power from the other working gauge and so they both run from the same power wire. However the wire to the 'Speco' gauge still burns through. Any Suggestion?
