I am just about to fit up an electric fuel pump which will feed off an AN-6 fitting that I have have put into my tank.
Is there anywhere other than the obvious at the ignition switch that is suitable for tapping into for power to feed this pump?
Cheers
Dave

Depends on how many amps the pump takes
* High-amperage fuel pumps should use a relay and take power directly from the battery (with a separate fuse at the battery)
* Low-amp pumps can be powered off the IGN feed for the ballast. The stock coil takes less power than the stock wiring can handle so there is no problem doing it this way

For safety it should be wired through an engine-running switch, just in case of accident the fuel pump will stop instead of pumping fuel all over the road
