Hello, I have been running Dellorto 45 and 48 DHLA and Weber 45 DCOE on my Datsun A13 powered race car. I don't think I need to have 4 complete sets of carbs for one race car, so some of these are offered for sale.

Set #1: New/rebuilt pair of 48 Dellorto DHLA with only dyno time and 1 test day at the track. These were built up by taking a set of good 40 DHLA bodies and boring the bodies to accept all of the 48 chokes and throttle plates. These have large, 40mm chokes in them and they are jetted for my 1300cc Datsun at high rpm (using 7500-10,000). $1000 USD plus shipping. I have invested probably 2-3 times that much. These are compete and ready to bolt onto a manifold and race. 2-DHLAs.

Set #2: A pair of 48 DHLA carb bodies and all of the parts to build them. $500 USD plus shipping. This is a package that includes (2) 48 DHLA that were running; (2) 45 DHLA bodies that have been bored to accept all of the 48 components; and all of the parts to assemble (2) complete carbs with jets/chokes etc. You will get many extra DHLA parts. The 48 DHLA pair has been repaired, so you can either use that pair OR put everything into the bored out 45 DHLA.

I also have Set #3: A complete and running pair of 45 DHLA with 40mm chokes. Used but in very good condition. $1000 USD plus shipping. [I also have other smaller 45 and 48mm chokes, so these can be made to work with lower rpm engines.]

OR PACKAGE: IF someone bought all of my DHLA carb sets listed above for $2500, I would include large storage bins with jets of all sized and DHLA tuning parts. I spent tens of thousands of dollars over the last few years doing dyno tests to find the best for my engine. My air/fuel ratio curves are very flat for carburated dyno pulls.

Thank you, Peter

Here are the 45 DHLA bodies bored to 48; and the original 48s with a repair plate to fix the cracked mounting flange. They do not look pretty, but they worked.

My suggestion would be to transfer everything over to the undamaged bodies.
