The exercise for me is to remove the friggen heavy 1k heater to save weight and clear out the engine bay or extra hoses.
Todays newer design alternators have higher amperage for less resistance, relays help as well and if you run the new blue type lights you save amps as well as gain whiter headlights (thats what they claim on the pack anyway) due to this gas needing less current to produce this extra white blue light.
This heater from the uk is only 2.4lbs.
