Where is the amp getting its power from?
Is it from the battery or from power under the dash?
The amp should be getting power directly from the battery.
The cable under the dash cannot flow enough current for the amp and the ignition.

And with any upgrade or addition in electrical components, the current output of the original alternator will be at its maximum and it is best to replace the alternator with a higher amperage unit.
