boostin a weber 32/36, fuel float question

hey,

i wanna boost my 32/36 weber (not going to box it)

anyway, the fuel float, what do i need to do, do i need brass or plastic, and does it need to be solid. it currently has brass floats in it which are hollow

also where do i get what i need
