go 40s mate on A12. i have 40s on my A14 (1434cc) with 32mm chokes.

you may even need smaller chokes. all depends on what Cam you run and what motor and head mods you have done as well. 40s on a stock A12 would run poor. i have seen 40s on a stock A15 run okay.

A a12 with head work and cam would suit nicely with a set of webers
