I've heard the same thing from others about older Datsuns. I picked up a few Japanese car magazines in Seattle however, and there were car dealer ads in it. I saw quite a few old ones for sale in them, even a few 1200's! The largest aftermarket company for Nissan, Tomei, is also over there, and they make a lot of 1200 racing parts. Barely any of their stuff ever makes it to the US though. Another Japanese book I was thumbing through listed all of the old cars the Japanese used to race, and the aftermarket parts companies you can get cool stuff from too. Of course the whole 60's-70's Nissan lineup was in it. Even though I couldn't read it, they had pictures I could understand: huge coil over front and rear shocks, GX heads, Weber/Mikuni intakes, roll bars, sway bars, forged pistons, headers, camshafts...all for 1200's, available from one company in Japan (not Nismo). I sure wish I could've understood what it said. In Japan they made different model B110's that I've never seen before, including 1400 model B110's, there was a webpage that had them all listed but I can't remember where it is. They had 1200 GX, EL, SL, 1400 GX, EL, SL (or something like that). They had different looking grilles and front ends, but they were still B110's. Someday I'll find out all there is to know about our beloved 1200s. I guess I better brush up on Japanese first! -Andy
