I think this discussion came up before, but what's up with other Nissan owners? Most of them have no respect for the almighty 1200. In the past 5 years I've been driving my 1200's, I have
not yet gotten an older Z or 510 to race me. This is unacceptable. This summer, I've been stuck here in Ohio state. Because they use salt on the roads in the winter, all the cars rust out in
NO TIME. Old cars are so few and far between that seeing a car older than a 1985 is rare. There are some old muscle cars around, but very few old imports. My dads 1200 and my 1200 get stared
at everywhere we go! One day I was driving around and saw a beautiful little red 69 510 that was lowered, had a big exhaust, and SCCA sticker on the back. I followed him for a while and
finally got next to him. The dude didn't even look over at me until I revved my engine up so loud that people 5 blocks away could hear. So he looks, and then keeps driving, eventually
turning a few blocks later. Guess he didn't want to get beat. In all these years I have pulled up to so many cool old Z's and 510's, and not one of them has tried. There was one 87 300ZX
Turbo I raced, and he was cool about me beating him, he wanted to buy my car after that. That's the only Z I've raced. I did race a hopped up 200SX SE-R not too long ago. My car was running
like crap and I had my first loss in a LONG while, of course I didn't feel bad because his car is far from stock. It won't be long till I'd be able to waste him.
