I got mail like that, and found out somehow also mail is delivered to others aparently from my address, I contacted yahoo, MSN, etc, and they said viruses and mean people too find ways to send crap. I received mail even from known members of this club, and other places I never corresponded with, many responses, etc, only to see that upon opening their attachment, the comp sec system says, "virus, watch out". I do not think these members did in fact send me any of that crap, I think is that problem, info about addresses is open to hackers, and I think they use that disguise to expand/introduce viruses. Some people, apparently have fun doing harm on others, sick, but true. When ever you receive something from an unknown source, simply erase it or check out the attachment, the PC will tell you before getting into it if there is a virus or anything. It is the problem with technology, there is no way to enforce decency, lots of idiots around. Use the protection against viruses. From what I've seen, somebody could send messages as if these messages came out from YOUR address, when in fact you never sent anything. All messages have a origin information, so, even if a message appears as coming out of a address, the origin of such message can tell if in fact it came out of such address, or, in fact, it is a disguise/impostor. Protect yourselves, if an attachment says"virus alert" delete it, no way out, never open it. Later. ____________________________________
