I've been thinking about how one might harvest email addresses.

If I had an unlimited download ISP, I could use something like wget etc, to leech entire sites, and search through the pages for email addresses Looking for "*@*"

I reckon if you targetted active sites, especially ones with forums, then you'd get a lot of email addresses, very quickly..Hmm at $1/email address? I could pay for my internet access in no time

I'm kidding. But it's all possible.
