i found informaton on this website a few months ago. i havn't actually made it yet,but this was kc laser rators and calipers, and is not difficult at all.
you need to remove the front drum assembly off the stub axle.
need to make a caliper mounting bracket out of some thick steel plate which bolts to the stub axle in the same way as the mounting plate from the drum brakes.
the stud holes in the laser rotors need to be made larger i believe they run the same sttud pattern though
from here you need to put it back together.
bolt the hub on then slide the brake rotors over
bolt the caliper on with pads assembled and finally a wheel.
the standard master should be fine but i think that you can use the brake hoses off the laser but am not sure on this

i dont know how legal this is but they are definently big enough disc brakes for a 1000
