Definetly use a surge tank I've had experiance with and with out in my SR20 dato and fuel surge sucks very much, imagine driving 50-60k's round a corner then your engine starts coughing and spluttering cause is cant get any fuel. You will need two fuel pumps for this one between fuel tank and surge tank and one between surge tank and engine.
