It would pay to lower the comp slightly, unless you are going to run small boost. double, or heavy single valve srings are a must. That is the minimum mods you can get away with. To make heaos of grunt, you should really fit some big extactors, with a big exhuast to get rid of the extra spent gas. the easiest way to drop the comp is with a head saver shim . this goes between the block, and the head gasket. also, if you are having the head overhauled, it pays to not get a three angle job dodne on the valves. This is because the valves need the extra contact area to aid with the disipation of heat.
