I got it out.

.......good work!

I got the cover off and found that the chain had at some stage slipped off the front sprocket and chewed a hole in the alluminium gearbox housing, its less that 5mm long and 2mm wide, but it lets all the oil out. Thinking of filling it with solder...any ideas?

errr u could fill it with solder but it wouldnt last long... solder is stronger when there is less of it.. in large amounts soldier is very week.. in small amonts soldier is strong.... if u cant get a bloke who knows how to weld aliminium ... get a new 1 ..... ive found with my moto that when something brakes dont rooot around for weeks trying to fix it.. just piss the #### part off and get a new 1..... dont solder.... it will come back to haunt u.... leave solder to the electricians
