Dattodude's advice is about the best I have ever heard regarding drifting!!!

I agree 100%!!! I'd rather get more sex than take chances crashing my Datsun. Drifting jacks cars up big time, and if you think you're good enough to not mess up your car, you're wrong...you might get lucky for a little while but you will crash it sooner or later. This is why I don't think Datsuns should ever be drifted....they're too valuable and rare to go crashing up every weekend! Now, if the car is totally trashed and rusted out to begin with I guess it wouldn't be so bad.

I was talking to some drifters last weekend about my SR20 Datsun project...first question they asked was if I'm going to drift it, and first words out of my mouth was "HELL NO, I'm not gonna jack up a classic!"
