I don't particularly see the point of drifting, or understand the attraction to it. It seems to me a terrible waste of perfectly good racetracks. What's the point of getting on a racetrack if you don't want to see how fast you can go around it? Are they afraid of something? Afraid of going fast through corners? Afraid of getting to the limits? Afraid of seeing their times perhaps?
Mate, there are some people out there that like this(myself included), but unlike some they like to just drift, cos thats there thing. You know its fun to do!!! and thats what life is about each person having there fun there way!! Hey you dont have to like it, but if you cant saying anything nice, please dont put them down for doing it.
I beleive that racing is about winning and yes timing is also a big part of some forms of motorsport, ie rallying. Like others have said drifting is also about the timing of a drift so you can "synchronise" your next drift in to a corner and that like the racing takes skill to do it well.
I believe that live is to be enjoyed anyway you, them or I want to live it, so let them enjoy themselves, cos I dont hear them putting you down for the way you live your life.
