Ah, how timely, the new Road & Track arrived (Aug 2004). This is one of the best american magazines, well balanced. Anyways it has an article on drift, here's what it says:Quote:

And about NOT being an illegal kid's activity, it is run for example under the D1 Grand Prix, Laguna Seca and other 'real' race tracks.

By the way, at the Mazda Laguna Seca drifting, a Dodge Viper (V10 engine) was narrowly beat out by a Nissan 200SX for ultimate winner.
