They know more about Uni Joints, flanges and tubes than most of us. And it saves them saying something like ..."that's unusable". Many tailshafts don't have serviceable universal joints. If the end of the uni's are "peened in". then it's non-serviceable, look for ones that are held in by circlips

I'm expecting my Uni joint for my CA will cost from $300-$400. It isn't real cheap.

I supplied all of my initial Uni Joint stuff to another place in Greenacre and got it assembled and balanced for 2 cartons of Tooheys Blue, but that was over 10 years ago.
