If you have checked all the obvious things. I would then possibly check the presure relief valve and spring in your oil pump. Looking at the pump on the mtr, this is on the left hand side under a 17mm blanking cap. undo this and check that the spring isin't damaged and that the plunger moves freely. This won't find the cause for the drop, but if all looks ok, you could put a small 1mm thick washer between the spring and cap. By doing this it will increase the resistance on the spring and increase oil psi. If that has no effect i would then maybe have a look at the pump its self.
