I love the rain too. Its great for the garden, water supply, farmers, environment etc.
In fact, the only downside is that it brings out all the idiots in their underpowered cars
I DREAD the rain,... in urban areas particularly.
Around here, in fact everywhere that i have spent any time, the rain brings out the wankers who think that they can drive,...[but can't] in cars that would not pass a registration inspection, either as a result of ill advised modifications, or because they can't afford, or don't know how, to maintain them.
I have not been hit by one of these dicks yet, but i have seen them at work, & i have been one or two cars away from the collisions that they have been involved in on about three or four occasions.
The sad part is that if the car is modified, & they do not tell the insurance company, then it's possible that the insurance is void. That means that the poor unsuspecting victim has to fix their own car, then sue the crap out of the person responsible.
Interestingly, i have noticed that, for many, the more confidant they are about their driving prowess, the more likely they are to come unglued in a big way. Big ego, little ability.
Perhaps we should addopt a new attitude to these uninsured dipsticks.
Perpetrators accosted, survivors sued.
